Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are an agreement between you and GREEN ZONE KİTABEVİ VE YAYINCILIK TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ ("GreenZone", "we", "us"), the publisher of the GoldWise mobile application (the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1.The service

GoldWise helps you judge whether a quoted price for a gold jewelry item is reasonable. Based on the weight, karat, asking price, and country you enter, it computes an estimated intrinsic gold value from market price data and shows a color-coded verdict. Premium features add AI-assisted photo analysis of craftsmanship and concrete negotiation guidance.

Market prices are refreshed on a scheduled basis and may lag live spot prices. Country adjustments, thresholds, and AI outputs are estimates, may contain errors, and may change without notice.

2.Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher minimum age your jurisdiction requires) to use the App.
• You sign in with Google or Apple. You are responsible for the security of that account and for activity under it.
• You may delete your account at any time in the App; deletion removes your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.

3.Subscriptions, scan packs, and billing

• Purchases go through Apple or Google. All payments are processed by the App Store or Google Play under their terms; we never receive your card details.
• Auto-renewal. Premium subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal, via your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
• Scan packs are one-time purchases of a fixed number of AI photo evaluations. They are consumed per use and do not renew.
• Price changes apply to future billing periods only, and the stores notify you before they take effect.
• Refunds are governed by Apple's and Google's refund policies and must be requested through them. Where the stores give us discretion, we consider refund requests in good faith — write to us.

4.No financial advice

The App's outputs — including gauge verdicts, fair-price targets, negotiation tips, and AI craftsmanship analysis — are informational estimates only. They are not financial, investment, tax, legal, or professional appraisal advice, and no output creates an adviser–client relationship. Gold prices fluctuate; jewelry value depends on workmanship, brand, stones, authenticity, and local conditions that the App cannot verify. Always use your own judgment and, where it matters, a professional appraiser. GreenZone accepts no liability for decisions to buy, not buy, sell, or negotiate that you make with or without the App.

5.Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the App unlawfully, or to deceive others (including presenting App outputs as certified appraisals);
• reverse engineer, scrape, or extract the App's data, models, thresholds, or source code, except where the law expressly permits;
• upload photos you have no right to use, or content that is unlawful or infringes others' rights;
• interfere with the service, circumvent entitlements (subscriptions, scan packs), or access other users' data;
• use automated systems to access the App at a scale a human could not.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6.Your content

You keep ownership of the photos you upload. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process them solely to operate the features you invoke — including transmitting them to our AI provider for analysis — and to store them for the retention period stated in the Privacy Policy (approximately 30 days). We do not use your photos for advertising.

7.Intellectual property

The App, this website, and all associated content — including the GoldWise and GreenZone names and logos, the pricing methodology, interface designs, and text — are owned by GreenZone or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for its intended purpose; they transfer no other rights.

8.Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that market data will be current at any given moment.

9.Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GreenZone shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, savings, or opportunities — including losses arising from purchase or sale decisions made in reliance on the App. Our total aggregate liability for claims relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us through the App in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, or the mandatory consumer rights of your country of residence.

10.Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, or discontinue the service with reasonable notice. Sections that by their nature should survive (4, 7, 8, 9, 11) survive termination.

11.Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of İstanbul (Bakırköy) have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules that let you bring claims in your country of residence.

12.Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the App evolves. Material changes will be announced in the App or on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
